3. Data Rectification & Portability
We actively monitor and swiftly correct any inaccuracies in the personal data we maintain, operating either on our own initiative or immediately upon a verified request from a data subject, ensuring intellectual property rights are balanced.
To support portability, ShowForm integrates robust tools within our admin dashboard allowing merchants to export their structural form settings and submission data. However, in accordance with regulatory allowances, generated insights and aggregated operational analytics (which are not directly provided by the data subject) are excluded from this portability export.

Data may be captured via temporary tracking cookies, referral metrics (UTM parameters), or directly from Shopify API syncs and form submissions. This data collection serves exclusively to improve security, builder reliability, and the merchant experience.
5. Data Retention & Deletion Upon Uninstallation
Active Retention
As long as a merchant actively retains ShowForm on their storefront, all customer submissions and app data are securely housed and preserved.
Immediate Deletion (Uninstallation)
When a merchant uninstalls the ShowForm app, all associated merchant data—including store details, configuration records, submission histories, and templates—are permanently and irreversibly purged from our active databases. There are no secondary restoration backups for uninstalled stores.
6. User Rights & Contact
Under the GDPR, individuals have powerful rights regarding their digital footprints, including the right to access, rectify, export, limit, or entirely delete their stored information.
